If we stop and think

Life is a mockery
With a hint of treachery..
A little bit of fraud
and then a Belief in God...
A whole lot of fun
and then loneliness like that of a nun
A string of failures
A row of trifles
a bouquet of flowers
Hopes as high a towers
Wishes so ardent
And disappointments galore
the back becomes bent
when each of us it trying to soar
A mind to satisfy
and a heart to be kept happy
the soul diminishes
by the time the needs of the body finishes.
We don't stop to realize
what will we get when our dreams materialize?
Will there be no more expectation
will there be no temptation??
because if we do stop and think
then the world will settle
without a freckle
and the soul will rest
the body would not detest
the peace and the contentment
there will be no resentment
and there will be no strife
and thus will be the end of LIFE..
